Tortilla wraps are a good alternative to bread, but it’s almost impossible to find suitable wraps for keto, sugar- or dairy-free, paleo, low-carb, or gluten-free diets. But there is a solution now, with KetoChef Ketortilla mix you are able to create tasty and easy to handle tortilla wraps.

Easy to make

Just add olive oil and hot water to the Ketortilla mixture and knead it until turns into a soft dough. Let it rest under a clean tea towel for at least 30 minutes and cut the dough into 6 equal pieces, making 24 cm circles from each. Cook both halves in a frying pan for 1-2 minutes until golden brown and fill the tortillas with choice of stuffing.

Recipe for 6 pieces of 24 cm tortilla:

250g Ketortilla base mix, 40 g olive oil, 282 g hot water

Cooking instructions:

  1. Pour the flour mixture into a bowl, add 40 g olive oil and 282 g hot water. It is important that the liquid phase is warm.
  2. Knead for around 5 mins until you make a soft, smooth ball of dough. Cover with a clean tea towel and rest it in a warm place for at least 30
    mins before rolling out.
  3. Cut the dough into 6 equal pieces and roll out each ball of dough as thinly as possible between two baking sheets. They should make rounds about 24 cm wide.
  4. Heat a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook the tortillas for 1-2 mins on each side until golden brown and toasted. Wrap them in foil and cover in a tea towel to keep warm, while you cook the rest.
  5. Enjoy it.
